An English qualified solicitor specializing in Maritime Law and International Trade, Amanda joined Maersk in April 2024 as Head of Claims for Asia Pacific with responsibilities for customer claims across the entire APA logistics business (Ocean, Air, Road, Warehousing etc.).
Prior to joining Maersk, Amanda worked for 5 years with a leading Dry Bulk operator in their Singapore office, where in addition to providing legal advice and claims handling on a full range of P&I, FDD and CP matters she has responsibilities for the Company’s sanctions and trade compliance. Prior to moving to Singapore, Amanda worked for the UK P&I Club and HFW, working predominantly within the German market.
Amanda takes an active part in the wider maritime community and is currently an active member of the Wista Singapore Ex-Co, an ambassador for the maritime and aviation safety charity CH!RP, and a member of the SCMA In-House Counsel group.
